Looking for a fun and affordable gift to give on Valentine's Day?  Here's an option from Bakerella via A Little Delightful.

Cookies in a Jar Valentine's Style

(I purchased the jar at IKEA for $3.99- great option)

Ingredients

Layer as follows:

1 1/3 cup flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

(Mix together and place on the bottom of jar)

1 cup rolled oats

3/4 cup m & m's 

3/4 cup chocolate chips (dark, milk, whatever you choose)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

To Bake

Add

1 lightly beaten egg

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup melted butter

Mix the dry ingredients.  Squish together to form a ball.

Bake 375 degrees, 10 minutes or so.
